About Talad Thai

In 1989 Mr Sa-ard Kriangsak and his wife Thanaporn had a dream of owning a small Thai business. Two years later in 1990, they managed to turn that dream into a reality and Talad Thai Ltd was open for business. Originally, Talad Thai was a small supermarket, which sold a wide range of ingredients that were imported directly from Thailand. There was also a kitchen where Thanaporn held cooking demonstrations on Sundays as an attempt to spread the art of Thai cooking to her customers.

As more and more customers came to sample the ‘original taste of Thailand’, business began to blossom and eventually Sa-ard decided to expand the company. And so Talad Thai Ltd became Talad Thai Supermarket and Talad Thai Restaurant.
